«The Olympia TT. Territory of Triumph», a new collection from the Fashion House, is inspired by creative works by Leni Riefenstahl, the film director who made such films as «Triumph of the Will», «Olympia», etc.

Being a reformer and pioneer, Frau Riefenstahl spent her strange life of a genius rejected by the world. The world granted her an olive branch and a crown of thorns for the same films.

The clothes collection and phototectures created by Lena Karin for it are a continuation of the body cult via shadows of monochrome solutions and controversial stylized designs. Each item from the collection features quotes from various films, diaries and street conversations.

One of the dresses reads «Wenn es morgen regnet, so bleibe ich zu Hause» (If it rains tomorrow, I will stay at home) while the other one reads «Traume haben keine Titel» (Nameless dreams)…

Retro motives and sports subjects along with expensive belts with coins and mechanisms, music box handbags and chequered raincoats as well as tennis and football evening gowns – they all became a part of the clothes made of natural fabrics. Soft coats and well-known phototectures form a fanciful pattern each time producing an illusion of Leni Riefenstahl’s life. Every item has its name.

Clothes are the native habitat for all of us, and it is up to the nature to take the final decision. The motto of the Autumn/Winter 2007 season is «Wir brauchen etwas anderes» (We would like something else).
